Our trails
Green to black, all downhill
We have a range of trails built with progression in mind. You'll find techy red and black trails with an off-piste feel complimented by green and blue flow trails.

Grading
What to expect when you drop in
Here's our trails, listed by their grade and a guide to trail grading so you know what to expect when riding with us. We're friendly and non-judgmental, so if you have any questions about grading - or anything else, please just ask.
- GREEN
- Floverload
Relatively flat, wide and smooth trails. Gentle descents, rollers and berms, with easy to avoid features. Surface might be loose, uneven or muddy at times.
- BLUE
- Peek-a-Blue
- Space Melon
Descents with moderate gradients, technical features like tree roots and rock steps; jumps and berms. Rollable features at controlled speed. Variable surfaces.
- RED
- Reddy Steady
- Earth Pig
- Mud Life Crisis
- Ground Control
Steep descents and / or avoidable features. Larger jumps, berms and rollable features at controlled speed. Technical features such as tree roots, drop-offs and large rocks. Very variable surfaces.
- BLACK
- Life's a Beech
- Now in a Minute
Long and steep descents and jumps. Numerous hazards including drop-offs and severe features. Rapid rate of surface change. Commitment required.
Recce first
Our trails are constantly evolving and being maintained, making recce rides really important - even if you've ridden at Hafod Trails before, you may encounter changes to the trails.
Bring disc brakes
We highly recommend using a bike with disc brakes - especially in wet weather when the trails may be muddy rendering rim brakes ineffective.
